When you're under attack, you can find out which direction enemies are attacking you from by using the mini-map. Red arrows showing the direction the enemy is facing appear on the map. Use it to prevent being ambushed and to plan your movement. Use the environment to your advantage to block projectiles and take cover when enemies are flanking you from various angles.
