Weapon traits are unlockable perks gained by using a weapon. A progress bar in-game (also on your Suit Computer) shows how much experience is needed to unlock the current trait. Once this trait is unlocked, it is usable and weapon trait progress is halted until the next unlockable. There are 3 levels for each trait, indicated by I, II, and III. Future weapon drops can have these unlocked traits.
