The best thing to do is save your Starglitter. Since characters are so difficult to pull and require lots of luck, the Starglitter Exchange is the most direct way to acquire a character of your choosing through character cards. However, it is a waiting game. You might not get the character you want but at least it's an option to directly purchase a character with currency.
