Make sure to visit Caspecci Cafe, Silk Lounge, and Taylor Park (press Left Stick to Fast Travel) after each of your runs if an exclamation is glowing on one of those locations. By constantly upgrading your abilities, you'll be able to survive longer during a run. Unlocking new weapons, items, and rooms will give you a chance at spawning them during each run as well.
