Samurai Bringer is a rogue-lite. The basic concept is that your progress is kept despite dying. The goal is to defeat bosses by opening purple portals. Blue portals are waves where you can defeat enemies to unlock skills, open chests, solve puzzles, and acquire gear from tougher Samurai. Upon death, gear from those samurais are available to use at start along with all your skills/stats.
