When you defeat clan leaders (enemies with white colored names), they occasionally drop keys. These keys are what you use to unlock treasure chests in the area. You can find treasure chests easily by looking at your map and seeing the chest icon. Keep these handy in order to find useful items and gear to enhance your abilities.
