When damaging an enemy, two separate bars appear. A blue Health bar, and an orange Stagger bar. The Stagger bar fills when you damage an enemy, however the type of weapon you use and different items can cause them to be staggered faster. Once the Stagger bar is blinking, the enemy is temporarily stunned. This is your chance to unleash attacks or go in for a melee attack.
