Once you finish the quest to save the king of Facade, talk to the king's advisor to gain access to the sandspouts located across the desert. These are the big structures with sand pouring out of them. Unlock each sandspout by jumping up top and pulling the large block to open it. You can then enter the sandspout and fast travel to other locations on the map.
