In many RPG games, you will be better off focusing attacks on one single enemy. But in this game it's best for you to attack each enemy with their elemental weakness so that you can summon your demons for the sabbath attack. So instead of killing off people one by one, you are better off attacking each enemy on every turn to keep summoning the sabbath attack.
