When throwing any Tactical item such as a grenade, first make sure you have a full charge. Aim in the direction where you’d like to deploy and press the Tactical gear button (click Left Stick on Xbox). Once deployed, wait until the highlighted circle moves over the enemy and press the Tactical button again. Your gear will detonate on the spot.
