The mechanics of this fight involve exposing the red bulbs on his body and shooting them to damage him. Destroy blue orbs when the red bulbs are hiding. Once the bulbs appear, focus fire on them. Watch for his tentacle and arm slams. These deploy purple rings you can't dash through. Jump and dash over them. Same with his purple lasers. Watch the ground while attacking, dash through projectiles.
