If you get stuck on the main quest called "The Wedge" you first need to make your way back to Mahag Saar. You can do this by Fast Travel from the Map. You'll want to go to the Hidden Wharf waypoint (it should show a yellow star indicating the quest location). You'll immediately see the ship, walk around it and board from the pier.
